MISSION:

Polygraph and Assessment Services, Inc. was established for the purpose of providing the most accurate, honest, and thorough polygraph examinations possible by following the best practice standards of the polygraph field and in accordance with Virginia and Federal law.  

We at Polygraph and Assessment Services strive to make each individual feel welcomed during the polygraph test process, and we believe that each client should receive the utmost care, respect, and service, no matter the time, date, or issue because it is YOUR Reputation, Integrity, Truth, and Story that matters.

We simply strive to do our best to provide the most accurate polygraph examinations and to meet the needs and desires of the client and/or referral source in a professional and ethical manner.  Each examination is conducted according to state and federal law and in accordance with best practice standards set forth by the American Polygraph Association. 

BIOGRAPHY:
President and lead polygraph examiner of the company, Nathan Perkins, M.Div, has been licensed since July of 2012, and has experience conducting polygraph examinations with public and private agencies that have included multiple Fire and Rescue departments in Virginia, Police departments in Virginia and Washington D.C., adult and juvenile probation, local Human Service agencies and mental health hospitals.  He also has a close working relationship with various mental health practices in Virginia and is the preferred examiner of local therapists concerning sex addiction and relationship matters.  He provides service to all areas of Hampton Roads, including Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Suffolk, Hampton, Newport News, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, and Williamsburg as well as all other areas of Virginia, Maryland, and Washington D.C. provided a satisfactory location may be established for testing.

With over 10 years in the polygraph field and after previously working in the mental health profession, Mr. Perkins has the insight and depth of knowledge needed to effectively interact and work with all types of individuals during polygraph examinations. 

Mr. Perkins' knowledge of the psychological aspects of humanity and his understanding that each person functions individually and uniquely provides him the capability to adequately work with all different types of personalities, behaviors, and situations during a polygraph test.  

As a polygraph examiner, Mr. Perkins makes sure that he communicates with, treats, and questions each client in the most effective and professional manner possible in order to assure the most accurate lie detector test results.  He understands that the client's story is the most important aspect of the polygraph examination, and he strives to ensure that each client feels comfortable sharing his or her story.           

Mr. Perkins is fully licensed and insured in the Commonwealth of Virginia and is a good standing member of the Virginia Polygraph Association and the American Polygraph Association.
